Terms of Use

These terms set the basic rules for using The Nanny Whisperers website, community, and future mobile app.

Effective August 27, 2026

Who may use the service

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. You must provide accurate account information, protect your password, and use only your own account.

Community and job-posting platform—not an employment agency

The Nanny Whisperers provides community features and a job-posting platform. We do not employ nannies, select candidates for parents, place workers, represent families, conduct background checks, verify professional licenses, guarantee member identities, or guarantee the accuracy of listings or applications. Parents receive applications and are solely responsible for interviews, screening, reference checks, hiring decisions, payroll, taxes, insurance, contracts, workplace safety, and legal compliance.

Paid job listings

A parent job listing costs $30 when paid checkout is available. Submission does not guarantee publication. Listings may be rejected or removed for missing information, safety concerns, deceptive content, discriminatory requirements, unlawful compensation, or violations of these terms. Each published listing accepts no more than 10 applications. Payment, refund, expiration, and removal details shown during checkout form part of these terms.

  • Job advertisements must include a good-faith pay range and accurate schedule, duties, location and benefits information.
  • Do not publish a child’s name, school, exact address, photograph, medical details, or other identifying information.
  • Parents—not The Nanny Whisperers—decide whom to contact, interview or hire.
  • Nannies must submit truthful applications and may not pay to apply.

Your responsibilities

  • Follow the Community Guidelines and all applicable laws.
  • Do not reveal a child’s, family’s, employer’s, or member’s identifying information without permission.
  • Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, discriminate against, scam, stalk, or exploit another person.
  • Do not attempt to bypass security, collect member data, distribute malware, or interfere with the service.
  • Do not use the platform for unlawful hiring practices, trafficking, sexual services, or financial schemes.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give The Nanny Whisperers limited permission to store, display, process, and moderate that content only as needed to operate and protect the service. You confirm that you have the right to submit it.

Deleting content may remove it from normal member view, but limited copies may remain in backups, reports, or safety records when reasonably necessary.

Anonymous posting

Anonymous means your public name and email are hidden from other members. It does not mean content is untraceable. Posts remain linked to the account that submitted them for moderation, safety, and legal purposes.

Moderation and account action

We may review reports and remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or permanently remove members when we reasonably believe these terms, the Community Guidelines, safety expectations, or law have been violated. We may preserve relevant records when investigating abuse.

Meeting and messaging safety

Online contacts and in-person meetings are undertaken at your own risk. Meet in a public place, tell someone you trust, arrange your own transportation, and do not share exact home or workplace locations until you have independently established trust. Call 911 for an immediate emergency.

Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may change, pause, or contain errors during testing. To the extent permitted by law, The Nanny Whisperers does not guarantee uninterrupted access, member conduct, employment outcomes, or the accuracy of community content.

Changes

We may update these terms as the community and mobile app develop. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service and request account deletion.
